Laly competitive telemarker
Laly was born in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc and started skiing at the age of 3. After moving to Passy, she joined the Passy Varan Ski Club, where she competed in alpine skiing for 13 years.
It was during an introduction to telemark skiing that she discovered a new passion. After a few attempts in 2016, she plunged into the unknown: her very first competition took place in Thyon, Switzerland, without ever having practised jumping, looming or cross-country skiing. However, this baptism of fire marked the beginning of a meteoric rise.
In 2018, she joined the French Telemark Team. She competed in two World Cups (Pralognan and Praloup), finished 13th in the sprint and became French U21 Champion in classic style in Vaujany.
In 2019/2020, Laly put her studies on hold to devote herself fully to her sporting career. With solid physical and mental preparation, she had a remarkable season: four top 10 finishes in five World Cup races, including 7th place in classic.
Since then, Laly has reached a new milestone. She is now part of the French A Team and has established herself as one of the leading athletes on the circuit. During the 2023–2024 season, she achieved a remarkable performance: 3rd in the overall World Cup rankings with no fewer than 7 podium finishes. In 2025, she continued her momentum with two sprint victories in Trillevallen and several additional podium finishes, confirming her place among the world's best telemark skiers.
Laly combines lightness, precision and a determination that continues to push her higher on the international stage.
Laly chose the Rottefella Freeride for competition. She loves its robustness and precision, especially with the SCARPA Tx Comp. For touring, she opted for her namesake ‘Laly’ ski with the 22 Designs Lynx 2.1 and the Scarpa TX Pro Women 2.0. For Laly, it's the perfect set-up: the Lynx is ideal for touring: lightweight, reliable and easy to use. Combined with the LTK alpine heel piece, it offers her a highly versatile ski, allowing her to switch instantly from touring mode (with the LTK heel piece in climb mode) to telemark mode, then to alpine skiing mode (by simply clipping in with the heel piece). For freeriding, the L5S1 97 allows you to float on powder thanks to its 97mm waist width and pairs perfectly with the 22 Designs Bandit binding, which is robust, smooth and incredibly easy to step into.
